- 'Nantgarw China Works - past, present and future''The little village of Nantgarw was world-famous 200 years ago for the incredible porcelain made there by William Billingsley, which sadly was made for only four years. This talk will explore the porcelain and the unique story of how the lost recipe was re-discovered a few years ago and how items are now made on the original site'.In Welsh,‘Crochendy Nantgarw – gorffennol, presennol a’r dyfodol’‘Roedd pentref bach Nantgarw yn fyd-enwog 200 mlynedd yn ôl am y porslen anhygoel a wnaed yno gan William Billingsley, ond yn anffodus am bedair blynedd yn unig. Bydd y sgwrs hon yn archwilio’r porslen a’r stori unigryw am sut y cafodd y rysáit a gollwyd ei ailddarganfod ychydig flynyddoedd yn ôl a sut mae eitemau bellach yn cael eu gwneud ar y safle gwreiddiol’.
