Cute Easter Egg Cup

CHICKEN EGG CUP

These funny little egg cups are made from your egg cartons. Have some fun decorating them.

Cut according to the photos
Cut the following pieces from the spare egg carton. A diamond shape that you then fold in half for the beak. Follow the pattern for the crown.
Paint your chicken yellow or white. Paint the beak and crown yellow, orange or red. Stick in place when dry. (It helps to make a small slit where you want to put the beak and crown to help it hold in place.)
Here’s a different crown for his head, made from an extra piece of egg carton. Wetting it will help you to make it curl.
Use a pipe cleaner for the legs. Cut off 2 pieces 3 cms long for the feet and twist around the ends. Bend to fit in place under your chicken and glue firmly in place.
Add googly eyes or add eyes with a felt pen.
Your chicken will now sit on the edge of a shelf, waiting for your boiled egg and toasty soldiers.

Family Crafts - Make this simple photo frame

EASTER PHOTO FRAME

Here is an idea for an Easter photo frame. Use your creative skills to decorate the individual eggs. You will need coloured card, scissors, felt pens, crayons or felt tip pens and maybe some stickers if you have them.

Draw an egg shape on one piece of card about 6 cms top to bottom. Cut this out and use as a template to cut 11 more. Use different colours of card if possible.
Cut a round shape about 15 cms in diameter. A tea plate could be used as a template. Cut out the centre of the circle so that you have a band about 2.5 centimetres left. This will be your frame to stick your eggs on.
Decorate each egg with crayons, felt pens or stickers.
Stick your eggs evenly around the circle with the pointed edge to the outside. (It is easiest to place them evenly by doing one at the top and bottom first.)
Pierce a hole in the top and thread a ribbon through to hang.
Find a photo from a magazine of your favourite pop singer or favourite footballer; or why not ask for a photo of your best friend to keep you company through the last part of lockdown.
