One-off Events

    Reminiscence Group   -  Tuesday, 4 October 2022  @ 2:00 pm

    • Join our friendly Reminiscence group to share memories of Old Whitchurch and to learn about the village.  You can get involved in our Walking Whitchurch Heritage project or just enjoy a sociable informative afternoon. 

    Walk along the Philog and Discover more about our local history   -  Saturday, 22 October 2022  @ 2:00 pm

    • Volunteers from AWEN@thelibrary will lead a walk along the Philog uncovering the rich history of our Village. 

    Walking Whitchurch Heritage - what we have found out so far   -  Saturday, 29 October 2022  @ 2:00 pm

    • Come and join volunteers from AWEN@thelibrary at St Mary's Church Hall, Church Road, Whitchurch CF14 2AD 2pm - 4.30pm  to find out more about our local history. Stalls, short lively talks, photographs, maps, activities for children and tea and cake.  All free, all welcome 

    Memorial Walk from St Mary's to the War Memorial  -  Saturday, 12 November 2022  @ 2:00 pm

    • Join Volunteers from AWEN@thelibrary for a walk remembering those who fell while serving the country,  during the last hundred years. The walk is free but there willl be a booking system.

      FAN Friends and Neighbours Group   -  Monday, 3 October 2022  @ 2:00 pm

      • Our FAN Friends and Neighbours group meets weekly in the community room.  If you are feeling lonely or you would like to meet more people locally come along!  If you are practising new English skills FAN is a good place to try them out. Phone Sarah on 07880632553 for more information. 

      Get Drawing Whitchurch Hub  -  Tuesday, 4 October 2022  @ 2:15 pm

      • Get Drawing is a free weekly drawing group for beginners and experts alike, on Tuesdays at 2.15pm. An hour of informal and uninterrupted creative time. Taking part in creative activities is good for mental health.  Materials provided but bring your own if you have them. Take a look at our Instagram page  The group takes place face to face in the Methodist Church or  on Zoom.

      Whitchurch Walking Group   -  Thursday, 6 October 2022  @ 10:30 am

      • A weekly  walking group meeting at 10.30am led by Walking Friends Wales - to find out more and book your free place phone Ilona on  07566777410 or email   This will be suitable for anyone who wants to join a sociable walk and get more active.  The walks start from Whitchurch Hub on Park Road. 

      Lego Club for Adults!   -  Thursday, 6 October 2022  @ 5:00 pm

      • It was everyone's favourite toy growing up and now you can let your inner child go wild with a Lego Club for adults each Thursday at 5pm at the Hub. 

      Knit and Natter and so much more!  -  Friday, 7 October 2022  @ 2:00 pm

      • Come to the Knit and Natter group and bring any portable craft - come and share your skills or learn a new one. All welcome to knit,sew, crochet and chat.
